Privacy Policy

Zetiq is an adaptive learning product for Indian students. This page explains what data we collect, why we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it. We keep this short on purpose.
What we collect
Depending on how you use Zetiq, we may collect:
- Account details — name, email, and grade where provided.
- Test responses — answers submitted during diagnostics, practice, and mock tests.
- Performance data — scores, ability estimates, topic-level results, progress, and generated study plans.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service — session info, device or browser type, and approximate usage logs.
Students under 18
Many Zetiq users are minors. Where a student is under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to the student's use of Zetiq and to our processing of their learning data.
How we use data
We use this data to:
- Run adaptive assessments and show accurate results.
- Build topic gap maps and personalised study plans.
- Keep the product secure, reliable, and improving.
We do not sell personal data. We do not rent or trade student profiles to advertisers or data brokers.
Sharing
We may use trusted infrastructure providers to host and operate the product. Those providers process data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by Indian law.
Retention
We keep account, test, and performance data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so reports remain available and we can resolve disputes or meet legal duties. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Requesting deletion
You (or a parent/guardian for a minor) can ask us to delete personal data. Email pilot@zetiq.app with the subject "Data deletion request" and enough detail for us to identify the account (name, email). We will confirm and process the request, except where we must retain limited records for legal or security reasons.
